WThis is a simplified version of a beverage from a new menu. Designed as a party-sized premix that is packed with the tastes of the holiday season, making it perfect for your holiday party. Reserve the remaining syrup for morning drinks, desserts, or for more rounds of this cocktail.
The Bikini Cocktail
Makes enough for 10 people
For the Clementine Cordial (makes 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Premix (makes 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine cordial (as made above)
Whole cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Directions
For the Cordial: Combine every ingredients into a saucepan, heat until it reaches a simmer, mixing until the sugar dissolves. After that, remove from the heat and let it to cool down fully. Transfer to a sealable bottle, cap it and store in the fridge, it can be stored for around a month.
For the Batch Mix: Combine the specified spirits and syrup in a large bottle, leave to sit for an hour, then pass it through best through cheesecloth, making it fully clarified.
To serve: Pour 85ml of your premix into your cocktail shaker packed with ice, and stir carefully for one minute to cool it down. Strain to a chilled martini glass or similar, top with a few cranberries and complete it using a quick spritz with the mandarin essence above the glass.
